Rishad’s story begins in Wayanad, Kerala a land of misty hills, ancient tribes, deep forests and close-knit communities. Growing up in this environment taught him that human connection, nature, and culture shape the way people see the world. That early curiosity about human behaviour eventually led him to study Sociology at SH College, Thevara, and later pursue a Master in Tourism from Christ University, turning personal interest into purposeful professional learning.
He further strengthened his credentials by qualifying as a Tourism Facilitator under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India through the prestigious IITTM (Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management) program. Rishad’s professional journey has been driven by one question — How do people truly experience travel? From designing cultural and family programs for German-speaking communities at BASIS Reisen, to coordinating high-responsibility corporate travel and events at Bertelsmann and Ola, his roles have always centred around understanding travellers and their emotional journeys.
With travel across 25+ countries and leadership of 100+ group journeys — from intimate family trips to massive global movements of 3,000+ participants — he has seen firsthand how travel can transform people and places.
ALT ADVENTURA brings together sociology, professional tourism planning, and global exposure to create slow, immersive and human-centred travel. Every itinerary is designed with intention — rooted in culture, shaped by community interaction, and built to create meaningful memories rather than just a checklist of attractions.
